Bell chimes for zero no claims

Having zero no claims bonus when looking for car insurance has always been a hindrance rather than help. However, that's not the case any longer as motorists with zero no claims can now actually save money thanks to car insurer Bell.

Part of the Admiral Group, Bell is offering an alternative for frustrated drivers who pay extortionate premiums due to their lack of no claims bonus and don't know where to turn. These can include newly qualified drivers, those that have been named drivers on someone else's policy, ex-company car drivers, or those that have been hit by an uninsured driver.

Bell managing director, Sharon Clarke, commented, "This is very much an underserved part of the car insurance market, and we realise how hard it can be to get a competitive quote when you have zero no claims bonus.

"Our staff are trained to be sympathetic to the reasons that people have for this, and will take the customer through the best options available to them in order to receive a reasonable price."

So, what does this mean in terms of prices? Bell compared itself to two competitors and came up with the following costs:

20 year old male accounts assistant living in West London, who was on his parent's policy:

£772.80

£2380.35
